The Awatere Valley is well-known for producing Sauv with tropical aromatics, such as grilled pineapple and dry herbs, and for delivering wine with beautiful texture and age ability. The two blocks selected for this wine combine to produce a wonderfully aromatic and delicate Sauvignon Blanc that is classically Awatere in character. On The Nose Expect fresh herbs with green pineapple and kaffir lime, with subtle salt air characters. On The Palate Enjoy the lively crispness, balanced by richness from the barrel fermented component. Flavours of grilled pineapple with a mineral edge and subtle tomato stalk on the finish.
