Tronquoy de Sainte-Anne, Saint-Estèphe 0.75

Region/Appellation: Saint-Estèphe, Bordeaux Since 1993, Château Tronquoy-Lalande has produced a second selection, Tronquoy de Saint-Anne, which is named after a historic parcel of the property. Composed mainly of Merlot and then Cabernet Sauvignon, and vinified with the same care as the Grand Vin, it can represent up to 20% of the total harvest. It is a round and smooth wine, extremely flavourful, and with more immediate charm than its elder. Grape varieties: Merlot: 68%, Cabernet Sauvignon: 32% Tasting notes: Expressive on the nose, with subtle vanilla notes. Good structure on the palate with pleasant fruity notes and silky tannins. Round and smooth, with a nice dose of peppery spice, it comes dangerously close to this and is now at the peak of its drinking maturity! Perfect match for Truffle omelette, Duck confit, Lamb, Poultry, Grilled ceps and Omelette aux truffes.
