Region : Alto Adige       Nussbaumer is Italy’s most awarded Gewürztraminer. A wine where the elegance and spicy aromatics of this ancient variety find their maximum expression.

    Grape varieties : Gewürztraminer       Tasting notes :        Nussbaumer matures in small steel tanks with constant lees-contact until the end of August. After bottling, its rests in the bottle for another 3 months. Total maturation period is thus at least 14 months. Slightly floral and dried vegetal scent of partly candied yellow fruits with herbal and mineral nuances. Ripe, sweet, melting fruit, moderate, fine acidity, herbal to floral aromas, a little red berries in the background, has melting and warmth, some depth, mineral tones in the background, lots of power, still young, very good finish with nutty, slightly yeasty and clearly mineral notes.
