Region : DOQ Priorat       The wine originates from a winery-owned single vineyard of 80-year-old Cariñena and Garnacha vines. Mas de la Rosa is an old vineyard now owned by Familia Torres. This incomparable Priorat enclave is home to Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena vines that are more than 80 years old. The exceptional Priorat terroir and a selection of the most exquisite grapes provide the inspiration for this project, a limited edition of our Priorat icon wine. Only 1,957 bottles and 67 magnums of Mas de la Rosa 2016 have been produced, with an allocation of 60 bottles for the UK.        Tasting notes :        Glistening ruby-red. Highly perfumed aromas of fresh red and blue fruits, candied lavender and exotic spices are complemented by a smoky mineral overtone. Sappy and energetic on the palate, offering intense black raspberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors that slowly put on weight and turn spicier through the midpalate.
