Château Chantalouette, Pomerol 2015

Region : Bordeaux       A new star is shining in the wine sky of Bordeaux. The 780 hectare small Pomerol cultivation area is one of the best ever. The wines from the picturesque appellation are in great demand, especially from the great 2015 Pomerol vintage. The director of Château Chantalouette is none other than Christian Moueix, the owner of the renowned Pomerol wineries La Fleur Pétrus, Trotanoy and Hosanna.         Grape varieties : Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Cabernet Sauvignon       Tasting notes :        The wine has a dark garnet ruby colour with a rich center. Open bouquet with red cherries, cranberry juice and milk chocolate notes. On the middle palate with a soft texture. Graphite notes and liquorice, ending in a mineral finish. Gastronomic Pomerol in a very fair price range. Perfect match for game, terrine and veal.
