70% Pinot Noir 30% Pinot Meunier 10 years of cellar ageing FOR VICTOR CANARD In 2021, the House pays a new tribute to one of its founders with the launch of the V Millésime 2012 cuvée, a combination of the history of the House and the know-how of Laurent Fédou. During the 2012 harvest, Laurent Fédou, Cellar Master of the House, was impressed by the quality and character of certain terroirs of Pinots Noirs and Pinots Meuniers. He therefore imagined an exceptional wine, emblematic of the history of the Maison Canard-Duchêne. With a pale gold tint, the cuvée reveals an initial brioche nose, slightly toasted, with aromas of ripe yellow fruits such as mirabelle plum, then with aeration elegant aromas of raspberry. As it evolves, some slight notes of cedar wood develop. A certain minerality and a hint of salinity sublimate a beautiful structure and a lot of freshness in the mouth. The finish is persistent, long, on a slight note of grapefruit zest.
