Domaine de la Croix Empereur Rosé Cru Classé: Jewel of Provence

The Domaine de la Croix vineyard is the most important of the classified growths of Provence. It rests on 110 hectares of vines benefiting from an exceptional situation and microclimate in the heart of the peninsula of Saint-Tropez, allowing them to produce fine and elegant wines.

Empereur, their new prestige cuvée, AOC Côtes de Provence Cru Classé from the most beautiful plots of the Domaine is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Rolle, Mourvèdre. Aged in oak barrels for 6 months, it combines rarity, refinement and excellence.

On tasting, a luminous pink gold color, an expressive nose offering notes of citrus fruits, yellow peach and lightly roasted dried fruits. The palate is perfectly chiselled, the volume is sumptuous, balanced by just the right freshness and noble bitterness.

For Laurent Dehré, MOF Sommelier, President of the Association of Lyonnais and Rhône-Alpes Sommeliers “The quality of great rosés is recognized by the balance they offer between vinous volume and tangy elegance. Empereur belongs to the breed of greats to accompany summer aperitifs and gourmet meals with equal success.”
